Chocobo Games
Because of the popularity of the chocobos, several games have been released for different consoles in Japan that features them as main characters. But out of all the games released only a few made it in North America.
Chocobo Dungeon 2

Chocobo Dungeon 2 is the follow-up to the Japanese game, Chocobo no Fushigina Dungeon, a game that never was reached North America. Released in 1998 for the Playstation, Chocobo Dungeon 2 is a dungeon-crawler type of game with random levels or maps everytime you go inside a dungeon. Aside from Chocobo, there are also other Final Fantasy creatures and monsters cameo like Mog, Cid (though again, he looks different here from his Final Fantasy namesakes), Bahamut, Ramuh and Bombs. But aside from them, Chocobo also meets Shiroma, a pink-haired white mage girl that becomes a staple in the succeeding Chocobo games.
Chocobo Racing

Chocobo Racing, like the title implies, is a racing game released in 1999 for the Playstation featuring mainly the characters from Chocobo Dungeon 2. Like the hugely popular racing games then, Mario Kart and Crash Bandicoot Racing, most characters race in go-karts, though the mages ride magic carpets, Mog drives a scooter, and in Chocobo's case, he races on roller blades. The game also featured Final Fantasy VII's Cloud and Final Fantasy VIII's Squall as unlockable characters.
Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo Tales

Chocobo Tales was released last 2006 in Japan and 2007 in North America for the Nintendo DS. It's mainly an adventure game where Chocobo's goal is to acquire different pop-up picture books and to win mini-games and card battles in order to progress through the storyline. Aside from featuring the recurring characters from the previous Chocobo games, the game also introduced the villian Irma and a lot of different colored chocobos, each with their own distinct personality.
I have personally played all of the games above, finished Chocobo Dungeon 2, played through some race tracks in Chocobo Racing, and Chocobo Tales is still in my DS. These games are fun and cute, especially Chocobo Tales, though sometimes some of those mini-games are impossible for me. x_X; Chocobo Dungeon got pretty repetitive especially when I die inside dungeons and had to redo all those levels again but it was still cute with all those characters. And since I suck at racing, so I never really got to progress through my Chocobo Racing game.
Other Japanese Games
Not counting Chocobo World, the Final Fantasy VIII chocobo side-quest game for the PocketStation, the three stand-alone games above are the chocobo games that were released in North America. But they aren't the only games featuring the chocobos. In Japan, chocobo games released were for different consoles ranging from the PlayStation to the WonderSwan to GameBoy Advanced, the Wii and even to their mobile phones. There's Chocobo no Fushigina Dungeon, Chocobo Stallion, Dice de Chocobo, Hataraku Chocobo, Chocobo Land, Choco-Mate, Chocobo de Mobile and Chocobo no Fushigina Dungeon Toki Wasure no Meikyu.
