! Catching Chocobos
To catch chocobo you need some greens and a chocobo lure materia. In the world map, there are some tracks with the shape of chicken feet called chocobo tracks. Equip the chocobo lure materia and walk around the chocobo tracks. A battle with a chocobo usually involves other monsters. You have to kill the monsters to be able to capture the chocobo. If you take long, the chocobo would run away. So for it to stay, use a green to feed it and while it's busy eating, kill the monsters with it.

There are seven chocobo tracks around the world:

• Chocobo Ranch area
• Junon area
• Gold Saucer area
• Rocket Town area
• Wutai area
• Mideel area
• Icicle area
